What Sets Our DIY Gazebo Kits Apart?
We often get asked what makes our DIY kits different from what else is out there, and this recent 3m x 4m Imperial Lantern is a good example of how we approach every structure.
This particular build features upgraded 200mm posts, C24 graded timber in the roof frame, bespoke gazebo walls, PVC panels, and is finished with our feature lantern centre, complete with a 4mm acrylic. A WoodMines gazebo is heavily engineered so that you have something that is solid and customers often comment on this when they view them in person at our display area in Wigan. We aim to make an impact!
But for us, the difference isn’t just in how it looks-it’s in how it’s made.Every roof we produce is fully pre-built and test fitted in our workshop before it ever leaves us. We don’t just cut timber and send it out as a kit -we build it, check it, and make sure everything works exactly as it should.
Only once we’re completely happy is it carefully de-assembled and prepared for delivery.
That means when your gazebo arrives on site, whether you’re installing it yourself or using a contractor, you’re not working things out as you go. You’re assembling something that’s already been built and quality checked.
It’s a process we’ve always completed, and it’s something we believe makes a real difference-not just in the end result, but in the process of putting our structures together.
Using C24 graded timber in the roof structure ensures strength where it matters most, while the 200mm posts give the gazebo a solid, substantial feel. Combined with our bespoke gazebo walls and pvc panel options, it allows each build to be tailored to suit both the space and how it will be used.
The lantern centre brings in natural light while still providing full coverage, making the space usable throughout the year and perfect on a sunny day!
