3m x 5m Imperial Lantern Gazebo

We recently completed the installation of a 3m x 5m Imperial Lantern Gazebo (external post dimensions) in Herefordshire.

This design features a central lantern detail, designed by WoodMines, which creates a real focal point within the structure. The lantern is finished with 4mm clear acrylic panels, allowing natural light through and giving the gazebo a lighter, more open feel compared to a fully enclosed roof.

The main structure is built using C24 graded in the roof frame, 200mm posts, pre-cut to a 2m head height, giving a solid and substantial frame. This is complemented by 195mm curved braces, adding both strength and detail to the overall look.

The roof is finished with Onduline professional grade grey shingles over 20mm thick tongue and groove (T&G) boarding, giving a neat, consistent finish across the structure.

As with all of our gazebos, this is also available as a pre-built DIY kit. Each structure is assembled and test fitted in our workshop before being dismantled and prepared for delivery, making installation straightforward on site.
